COPRO and TPA Win Real Estate Marketing Award for GLINT

Berlin, October 10, 2018 – The marketing concept for the historic GLINT complex has won the Real Estate Marketing Award in the Residential category. The award, presented by the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences, recognizes innovative and creative marketing concepts. The submitted concepts are reviewed and evaluated by a jury of experts chaired by Professor Dr. Stephan Kippes. “It is a tremendous success for us that we were able to score points again with our exceptional communication concept for GLINT,” explains Nadir J. Guediri, Managing Director of COPRO Projektentwicklung GmbH. The marketing concept, developed by real estate developer COPRO in collaboration with TPA Real Estate Brands, was based on the guiding principle of breathing new life into the historic buildings at the corner of Glinka and Taubenstrasse in the heart of Berlin, even before their planned revitalization in the first quarter of 2019.

Exceptional communications bring GLINT to life

The marketing comprises several components, including the GLINT book—a print publication documenting the revival of the long-dormant ensemble. Inspired by the elegance of the historic building, the book was recently honored with the Red Dot Award in the Publishing & Print Media category. This is complemented by distinctive branding, high-quality gifts for potential buyers, elegant image ads, and a 360° virtual tour offering an exclusive look inside the building and a panoramic view of Berlin from the GLINT rooftop. “Together with COPRO, we succeeded in developing exceptional communications across different media that all convey the idea behind GLINT. In this way, this historic architectural jewel is being led into the 21st century,” explains Lutz Grimm, Managing Director of TPA.

GLINT: Preserving new values, conserving old ones

The aim of the marketing measures was to awaken the charm of the GLINT Wilhelminian ensemble long before the planned renovation. Respecting the building’s history and in close coordination with Berlin’s monument protection authority, GLINT is being transformed into a spacious residential quarter with commercial and communal areas—a place where new values find a home and old values live on. This process is reflected in GLINT’s name and logo. An apartment store has already opened to give visitors a first impression of the future living spaces and to provide a venue for meetings with potential buyers and events.

European Property Award: the result of 25 years of COPRO experience

Since 1993, COPRO has developed sophisticated real estate projects with long-term potential. Based in Stuttgart and Berlin, the company covers the entire real estate value chain—from the project idea through development, execution, and completion to sales and the subsequent management of the properties. Its three business units—Project Development, Property Management, and Sales & Services—work closely together and oversee each project throughout its lifecycle. With the European Property Award, COPRO now holds one of the industry’s most significant distinctions. The awards ceremony took place on October 25, 2018, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
