COPRO supports new "Forum" at EBS University

EBS Business School, the oldest private business school in Germany, has been training leaders with an international perspective since 1971. Just in time for its anniversary year, the first phase of construction has been completed after 1.5 years with the opening of the new lecture hall. Last weekend, the new "Forum" in the courtyard of EBS Castle was inaugurated by EBS President Günther H. Oettinger and Rector Prof. Martin Böhm.

Thanks to a donation of €150,000 from EBS alumni, the Forum has been equipped with state-of-the-art technology and study room furniture. Dr. Dorothée Hofer, Managing Director of EBS University, said: "I am very proud that we have now completed the first phase of construction and am extremely excited about the second phase, which will begin soon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our alumni for their generous support!" Antje Kimmich, Managing Director of COPRO Beteiligungs GmbH, and Marc F. Kimmich, Managing Partner of COPRO Beteiligungs GmbH, have been actively involved with their alma mater for many years, having both graduated with diplomas in 1990.

The new building is characterized by its extensive use of exposed concrete, wood, and glass, and is partially sunken into the ground to avoid casting a shadow on the historic castle. The 130-square-meter space now accommodates 200 people in its accessible interior and on the striking steps along the sides. Around 60 students can work in seminars at group tables and, weather permitting, spend their breaks on the rooftop terrace overlooking the vineyards and the Rhine River.

Further information can be found on the EBS University website.
