EXPO REAL 2017 – COPRO & Friends in Munich

COPRO and Tango San Telmo Verwaltungs GmbH (TST) hosted their annual "COPRO & Friends" event.
For the third consecutive year, the hosts welcomed around 80 guests to BAR MUENCHEN on October 5, 2017. The focus of the convivial gathering was the Berlin project "Urbane Mitte am Gleisdreieck" (Urban Center at Gleisdreieck).
Marc F. Kimmich, founder and managing partner of COPRO, Nadir Guediri, Managing Director of COPRO, and Ulrich Trautmann, Managing Director of TST, presented guests with fascinating insights into the pioneering "Urbane Mitte" urban district. Architect Markus Penell from the commissioned architectural firm Ortner & Ortner Baukunst also presented an excerpt from the architectural guidelines for "Urbane Mitte." These guidelines serve as a blueprint for the future architecture of the urban district.
At Expo Real 2017, COPRO received the Platinum pre-certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB e.V.) for the regenerative and resource-efficient architecture of the "Urban Center" project. COPRO was also awarded the DGNB Gold pre-certificate for the planned conversion of the historic GLINT building complex into a residential and commercial quarter in Berlin-Mitte.
