Latin American Art at GLINT on the Occasion of Gallery Weekend 2018
Since the start of Berlin Gallery Weekend on April 27, 2018, art lovers had the opportunity to discover the art exhibition “No Place / Like Home” on the first floor of the historic Gründerzeit-era GLINT building at the corner of Glinkastrasse and Taubenstrasse in Berlin-Mitte until May 12, 2018.
Nadir Guediri, Managing Director of COPRO Projektentwicklung GmbH, represented the Urbane Mitte am Gleisdreieck project that evening and engaged in interesting discussions with decision-makers from politics and business about the planned urban quarter at Gleisdreieck and the associated pioneering project B-Part, which will be completed on the site in early 2019.
In addition to guest of honor Can Dündar, journalist and former editor-in-chief of the Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet, Thomas Klein, as host and chairman of the Berlin press conference that evening, also welcomed, among others, Governing Mayor Michael Müller, Minister of State for Culture and Media Monika Grütters, Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises Ramona Pop, as well as numerous editors-in-chief of media outlets accredited in Berlin, from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) to the New York Times.
