COPRO supports diversity in architecture

The international, biennial divia award, presented for the first time in 2023 by Diversity in Architecture e.V., aims to promote the visibility of women in architecture. A distinguished international jury selected five finalists from 27 nominees from all six continents: May al-Ibrashy (Egypt), Katherine Clarke & Liza Fior (United Kingdom), Noella Nibakuze (Rwanda), and Tosin Oshinowo (Nigeria). The winner is Italian architect Marta Maccaglia, who works in Peru and is committed to educational buildings. Diversity in Architecture e.V. presented the intermedia exhibition showcasing all five finalists together with BDA Baden-Württemberg and the International Building Exhibition 2027 City Region Stuttgart (IBA’27) at the BDA Wechselraum during the IBA’27 Festival.
