Handover of the former Monastery Cellar

Berlin/Potsdam, November 19, 2019 – Real estate developer COPRO will hand over the construction project at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 94 to Berlin-based project developer and construction company Glockenweiß GmbH at the end of the year.
The new owner recently won the contract to develop the new creative quarter in downtown Potsdam. Prior to this, COPRO had already secured the property, which housed the former monastery cellar restaurant until September 27, 2018, through essential preparatory construction work.
Glockenweiß GmbH plans to develop the property on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße in conjunction with the creative quarter and is exploring how the building can be integrated into the planned "Village" concept. A vibrant mix of commercial space and residential units is envisioned for the vacated area of the former monastery cellar.
There are currently no plans to continue operating the restaurant. However, the hair salon on the ground floor of the building will remain open.
