KI performance GmbH Moves into Office in COPRO's Kaiserbau

Berlin/Stuttgart, June 6, 2017 – Real estate developer and investor COPRO has leased 700 square meters of office space in the renovated Kaiserbau building on the popular Marienplatz in Stuttgart-South to KI performance. The IT company implements technology- and data-driven projects in a wide variety of industries. KI performance's core areas include business intelligence and SharePoint solutions. The company works closely with its technology partner Microsoft and incorporates innovative components into its clients' projects – from mobile apps to cloud hosting. In addition to its Stuttgart location, KI performance has offices in Cologne and Berlin.

"We are designing the spaces together with our new tenants during the renovation process to ensure they optimally meet their wishes and individual requirements," explains Antje Kimmich, Managing Director of AK ImmobilienServices, which brokered the commercial space to KI performance on behalf of COPRO for a term of ten years. A 184-square-meter loft-style commercial space on the second floor of the Kaiserbau building is now available for rent.

The listed ensemble of five buildings, dating back to 1911, was modernized by COPRO with careful consideration for its historical character. Completed in 2015, the building offers a total usable area of approximately 6,350 square meters, creating a contemporary yet historically sensitive mixed-use development comprising 40 residential units and 8 commercial units. A highlight is the converted penthouse apartment with historic studio windows and panoramic city views.

A Listed Building with Urban Flair

"The Kaiserbau is the central attraction on Marienplatz," says Antje Kimmich. "With a diverse range of restaurants and shops, we were able to bring the open atmosphere and urban lifestyle of the square into the Kaiserbau."

With this impressive building, COPRO demonstrates that its commitment extends beyond project development. A dovecote was opened in the attic of the Kaiserbau building in the summer of 2016. The aim is to regulate the number of pigeons in the city center in a species-appropriate manner and to address the often associated challenges for the city and its residents. The facility for urban pigeons was financed by COPRO and provides the birds with a new home.
