Berlin, August 30, 2018 – COPRO and Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck have officially joined Berlin Partner for Business and Technology GmbH. Berlin Partner is responsible for the global marketing of Berlin as the capital city and a key location, with a particular focus on regional economic development. As part of its activities, Berlin Partner brings together numerous experts to form a network that supports local businesses, investors, and research institutions in the areas of innovation, expansion, and securing their business locations. Over 290 companies and business organizations are involved in this unique public-private partnership. "We are proud that our membership in Berlin Partner gives us the opportunity to work even more intensively for Berlin's future and to actively shape Berlin's potential," emphasizes Marc F. Shaping Berlin's future
For 25 years, the real estate developer COPRO has been committed to increasing Berlin's attractiveness for residents, visitors, and employers through its construction projects. This goal also underpins the "Urban Center at Gleisdreieck" project for future-oriented urban development: On the site of the former Potsdam and Anhalter freight depots at Gleisdreieck, a new urban district will be created that harmoniously combines the fundamental aspects of modern living and working: new ways of working, mobility, supported arts and culture, sports, innovation, and digitalization. Before the first sod is turned for the construction project, the area will be used for pioneering projects. Examples include the BRLO Brewhouse and the future coworking and innovation space B-Part – an experimental space for people who want to discover, experience, and help shape the living and working environments of tomorrow. "With the Urban Center at Gleisdreieck project, we want to further advance Berlin as an innovative metropolis in national and international competition.
