A warm welcome to Karsten Baurschmidt – CEO of COPRO AG

Effective immediately, Karsten Baurschmidt will lead the COPRO Group as CEO of COPRO AG and contribute his expertise.
From 2009 to 2023, Mr. Baurschmidt was a member of the executive management of the mechanical engineering company Kessler + Co GmbH & Co. KG in Baden-Württemberg and headed the single family office of the company’s shareholder families. He also served as Managing Director of GMG Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG, a company that acquires, manages, and develops residential and commercial real estate in Germany over the long term.
Previously, Mr. Baurschmidt gained extensive experience in M&A and business development at General Electric in London and Ernst & Young in Frankfurt and London.
He now looks back on more than twenty years of professional experience in family offices, foundations, and corporate finance advisory. He studied industrial engineering at KIT Karlsruhe and complemented this with a CEFA/CIIA qualification in Frankfurt.We warmly welcome Mr. Baurschmidt and wish him every success and a highly rewarding time in this new and exciting role!
