The Klosterfelde project

In late 2018, COPRO, together with two private investors, acquired the property in Klosterfelde, north of Wandlitz. Under the leadership of COPRO Projektentwicklung GmbH, initial steps were taken before the project was continued by a business partner. The goal remains to create a vibrant, sustainable neighbourhood based on the existing overall concept.


The focus is on diverse housing options – from terraced houses to multi-family buildings, as well as apartment buildings, including affordable units. Complementary infrastructure such as a kindergarten, a community centre with a therapeutic swimming pool, a marketplace, a neighbourhood petting zoo, and orchards will promote a livable community.


Paths and public spaces are designed as meeting places: garden paths, village greens, green oases, and traffic areas create an open, interconnected neighbourhood structure that integrates harmoniously into Klosterfelde.

A neighbourhood for living

The 6.6-hectare site in Klosterfelde was recognised early on as a development location. In late 2020, the zoning plan was established in coordination with the municipality of Wandlitz. The goal is to transform the former Innova industrial site into a vibrant residential neighbourhood .


The neighbourhood stands apart from traditional settlements and is based on four pillars:

  1. Digitalization – flexible workspaces, smart mobility, and energy supply.
  2. Regionality – promotion of local products and sustainable quality of life.
  3. Healthy Living – natural building materials, good indoor climate, and a car-free neighbourhood structure.
  4. Living in Old Age – active, healthy, and communal housing forms for seniors.
