This experimental lab in timber construction is for anyone who wants to discuss and develop solutions for the future of work, new mobility, and urban communities under one roof.
Spanning approximately 1,000 square metres, B-Part creates a meeting place for neighbours, park visitors, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts of art, sports, and culture, featuring coworking spaces, a public café, sports offerings, art exhibitions, and events. The heart of the building is the Urban Ideation Lab, which offers free, curated workspaces for exploring forward-thinking ideas and solutions for a livable urban quarter.
B-Part Am Gleisdreieck was constructed using prefabricated timber elements. The wooden structure is environmentally friendly, can be built in a short time, and is also recyclable. As a temporary timber building, B-Part will stand on the site for four to five years before being dismantled and reconstructed elsewhere. The wood used in the construction stores 350 tons of CO2 and also avoids an additional 350 tons of CO2 compared to a building made of concrete and steel.

B-Part's outer shell made of wooden slats creates a vibrant effect for the building with its double-bent shape. As one walks or drives by, the façade seems to change. The visible wooden ceilings and the walls clad in maritime pine create a natural and healthy atmosphere inside. The specially built mobile focus boxes made from maritime pine, large wooden workbenches, and the central outdoor staircase contribute to a pleasant room climate and encourage interaction.

Luckenwalder Str. 6b, 10963 Berlin-Kreuzberg

Directly on the Spree River with views of the East Side Gallery and Oberbaum Bridge, the building from 1899 combines work-life balance and business. Sustainably renovated and revitalized, it blends the charm of bygone days with a modern industrial atmosphere. The waterfront location, private rooftop terraces, and the greened inner courtyard provide daily new inspiration.

When government meets shopping and business meets tourism. When living and working are combined so that architectural and functional synergies arise that enrich everyday life, terraces become sun oases, greenery turns into city gardens, courtyards into promenades, and tenants into a community – all in a perfect location and with the highest comfort.
