On the outskirts of Berlin, nestled between forest and lake, stands an extraordinary building designed by Danish architect Sigurd Larsen: Lake2Forest. In the Asset Class Retreat, this is the third project co-initiated by COPRO. The sports, health, and event centre has been constructed using sustainable timber building methods, reflecting the natural beauty of its surroundings.
Lake2Forest has been designed according to the principles of circular construction. Parts of the building were prefabricated in a factory and assembled on-site. This significantly reduced construction time, minimised the impact on the neighbourhood, and was environmentally friendly.
With wood as the primary material, COPRO, together with architect Larsen, makes a statement for sustainability. Lake2Forest connects nature and humanity, providing space for well-being and balance.
Lake2Forest creates spaces where people can come together, interact, and exchange ideas. From cozy evenings by the fireplace with motivational speakers to lectures and discussion panels – the architecture fosters networking, new perspectives, and positive energy.
Lake2Forest offers space for movement, relaxation, and deceleration. A place in harmony with body, mind, and community.

Lakefront property on the outskirts of Berlin

Subtle on the outside, the building reveals its beauty upon entry. As the headquarters of the renowned Sprüth Magers Gallery, the exhibition halls offer a view of the almost forgotten Krausnick Park. The "Therbusch Resource" serves as a meeting point for art and media enthusiasts – from the upper floors, the view extends all the way to Museum Island.

Where 4,000 m² of vacancy once lay dormant in a factory building, a vibrant place with nearly one hundred percent occupancy was created through conviction and forward-looking decisions.
